Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) - VACCHO is the peak Aboriginal health body representing 24 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) in Victoria. The role of VACCHO is to build the capacity of its membership and to advocate for issues on their behalf. Capacity is built among members through strengthening support networks, increasing workforce development opportunities and through leadership on particular health areas. Advocacy is carried out with a range of private, community and government agencies, at state and national levels, on all issues related to Aboriginal health.

Wulumperi 0 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Sexual Health Unit - Is a friendly, free and confidential Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander unit within the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre (MSHC). If you decide to come into MSHC for a checkup with a doctor or nurse there is a male and female Aboriginal worker to encourage and support your sexual and reproductive health needs (if you request this) during your visit to the clinic. No Medicare card is required. We are also here to support you with your sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing information.

Victorian Aboriginal Corporation for Languages (VACL) - The Victorian Aboriginal Corporation for Languages was established in 1994 to address the issues of language loss and is the state body responsible for coordinating Community Language Programs throughout Victoria. These programs are run in local communities that report regularly back to VACL. The Corporation is focused on retrieving, recording and researching Aboriginal languages and providing a central resource on Victorian Aboriginal Languages with programs now looking at educational tools to teach the Indigenous community about language.

Education

Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Incorporated (VAEAI) - Established in 1976 as the Victorian Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (VAECG), the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Inc. (VAEAI) is a community based and controlled organisation. The major aim of the VAECG was to develop processes for the involvement of Victorian Koorie community members in decision making regarding education and training provision for Koorie students. This goal continues to be the core of the organisations' principles of Koorie community empowerment.

Youth Affairs Council of Victoria - The Youth Affairs Council of Victoria Inc. (YACVic) is the peak body and leading policy advocate on young people's issues in Victoria.

Our vision is for a Victorian community that values and provides opportunity, participation, justice and equity for all young people.

We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation. Our core funding comes from the Victorian Government's Office for Youth.

YACVic is governed by a volunteer board and run by a paid secretariat. We have two main advisory mechanisms, our Policy Advisory Group and our Youth reference Group.

Youth Disability Advocacy Service - The Youth Disability Advocacy Service (YDAS) is raising voices, expanding choices and creating change for young people with disabilities in Victoria, Australia.

YDAS works alongside young people with disabilities between the ages of 12 and 25 to raise awareness of their rights and to support them to achieve what they want.

We provide one-on-one support through our individual advocacy service and also work on broader social issues affecting young people with disabilities through our systemic advocacy. This broader work is directed by the YDAS steering committee whose membership is made up exclusively of young people with a range of disabilities from across Victoria.

YDAS is a service of the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria (YACVic). We are funded by the Office for Disability.
